HOW TO COMMISSION
Commissioning your own unique portrait is an amazing way to capture a beloved furry friend, family member, place and a fond memory forever. They also make the perfect gift for someone special! I pride myself on my attention to detail and bringing the subject to life on the paper.

The stages below will explain in detail the process we will go though to complete your commission. I offer a completely customisable, one of a kind piece of art and a joyful, hassle free experience for you from start to finish.
1. CHOOSING A PHOTO
The better the quality of photo, the better the quality of drawing. I work from several photos when drawing, one for the composition and others for extra details to truly capture the subject. Please see my PHOTO GUIDE for more information.
2. CHOOSING A SIZE
You need to consider where you will display your artwork, as the scale of the portrait is an important factor. I offer a range of sizes, and prices all depend on a number of factors. Please see my PRICE LIST for more information.
3. CONTACTING ME
You can get in touch via the form on my CONTACT page and I will email back. You will also find my Instagram/Facebook if you wish to send me a DM. I aim to respond within 3 working days.
I will advise you on when I will be able to start/complete the artwork, as I do have a waitlist. Turn around for the artwork can take up to 5 weeks so it is best to book your place in advance, although I can try my best to meet a special occasion deadline.
4. TAKING PAYMENT
I take payment via bank transfer for UK orders and PayPal for overseas orders (an additional cost is added to cover PayPal's currency conversion and transaction fee). I will invoice a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your place. Payment plans are available. A final invoice for the remaining balance will be sent when I have finished and you are 100% happy with the artwork.
5. THE ARTWORK
Once your commission has been confirmed, I will create a mock up composition for you to approve, and from there create an outline. I will send you regular progress pictures so you can keep up to date with the work, and request any alterations to be made. Once I have received the final balance, I will securely package your work and post it via Royal Mail- Special Delivery for UK orders and International Tracked & Signed for overseas.
